Pasquale will play Paul, a day trader with a gambling problem who is fired from his job six months after making a bad trade that costs his firm millions. Paul and his wife move to Brooklyn, where he and expectant father Marino (Anthony Carrigan) start a high-priced bookie business.
Bronwen Hughes will direct the pilot from a Sheila Callaghan script.
Pasquale is perhaps best known for his work as firefighter Sean Garrity on the FX series "Rescue Me." He appeared on Broadway in reasons to be pretty and received Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Award nominations for his performance in The Man of No Importance at Lincoln Center Theater. Additional stage credits include Fat Pig, Beautiful Child, A Soldier's Story, Spinning Into Butter, The Spitfire Grill and The Light in the Piazza.
