News Stevens and Cuccioli Will Be Dietrich & Chevalier Off-Broadway Tony Award nominee Robert Cuccioli, Jodi Stevens and Donald Corren will headline Dietrich & Chevalier: The Musical, which will begin performances Off-Broadway June 5 at St. Luke's Theatre.

Cuccioli (Jekyll & Hyde, Jacques Brel…) will star as Chevalier opposite Stevens (Jekyll & Hyde, Urban Cowboy) as Dietrich and Corren (Souvenir, Torch Song Trilogy) in a variety of roles.

Pamela Hall (Danny & Sylvia, The Rise and Fall of Dorothy Hale) will direct the musical by playwright Jerry Mayer. The show will feature signature songs made famous by the legendary film duo. Dietrich & Chevalier will officially open June 20.

The production has musical direction by Ken Lundie with musical staging by Gene Castle.

Mayer's musical explores the friendship between Dietrich and Chevalier, who were married to others but remained close throughout their lives. Songs featured in the production are "Falling in Love Again," "Louise," "Lili Marleen," "Mimi," "No Love, No Nothin'," "Valentine" and "The Boys in the Backroom."
