Shakespeare on the Sound artistic director Joanna Settle directs the production that plays Pinkney Park in Rowayton, CT, through June 26; and Baldwin Park in Greenwich, CT, July 2-11. In 2009 Shakespeare on the Sound commissioned Tony Award-winning Passing Strange creator and star Stew to pen an original score for Midsummer Night's Dream. In 2010 Stew and his frequent collaborator Heidi Rodewald have been invited to write the score for Othello.

Williams ("King of Queens," "ER") stars in the title role, with Perez (Recent Tragic Events, Barrio Girl) as Iago. The cast also features Stephanie Fieger as Desdemona, Brian Tyree Henry (Brother/Sister Plays) as Cassio and Triney Sandoval (Frost/Nixon, A Man for All Seasons) as Brabantio/Ludivico.

Othello also includes Stephanie DiMaggio (Emilia), Nat McIntyre (Roderigo), Rhett Henckel (Montano), Alexa Salamè (Bianca) and Will Cohn (The Boy).

Designing Othello are Keith Parham (scenic design), Tilly Grimes (costume design), Obadiah Eaves (sound design) and Jessica Paz (sound system design).
