News Sting, Elton John, Meryl Streep, Katharine McPhee and More Set for Rainforest Fund's Carnegie Hall Gala The Rainforest Fund, co-founded by Grammy Award winner Sting and wife Trudie Styler, will present its 2012 benefit concert April 3 at Carnegie Hall's Stern Auditorium/Perelman Stage.

The 7 PM performance, which will be followed by a gala dinner, will feature Sting, Elton John, James Taylor, Meryl Streep, Katharine McPhee, Bryn Terfel, Rosanne Cash and Vince Gill, among others. The evening will also include live and silent auctions. "We're so thankful for artists like Elton John, James Taylor, and the many others who are doing their part to support the Rainforest Fund in its quest to raise awareness of the global environmental crisis we're facing," said Styler in a statement.

The Rainforest Fund was founded in 1989 by Sting and Styler. Over the past 23 years, the organization has worked in partnership with more than 100 local organizations in all major rainforest areas. For more information, visit www.rainforestfund.org.
