News Stop the Presses Concert, Featuring Over 30 Newsies, Adds Second Show Stop the Presses, a concert event prior to Newsies' final performance at Broadway's Nederlander Theatre — featuring over 30 cast members from the Disney hit — has added a second show at 54 Below.

Concerts will now be offered Aug. 14 at 7 PM and 11: 30 PM. The 7 PM show sold out following its announcement July 24. Newsies' final Broadway performance is Aug. 24.

Directed by Yvette Kojic with music direction by Benjamin Rauhala, Stop the Presses will feature performances from Newsies cast members Giuseppe Bausilio, Tommy Bracco, Joshua Colley, Corey Cott (7 PM only), Julian De Guzman, Ben Fankhauser (7 PM only), Michael Fatica, JP Ferreri, John Michael Fiumara, Julie Foldesi (7 PM only), Damon J. Gillespie, Lewis Grosso (7 PM only), David Guzman, Jacob Guzman, Liana Hunt (7 PM only), Molly Jobe, Adam Kaplan, Evan Kasprzak, Andrew Keenan-Bolger, Jess LeProtto, Jake Lucas, Luca Padovan, Daniel Quadrino, Julie Reiber (7 PM only), Andy Richardson, Matthew Schechter, Jack Scott, Ryan Steele, Brendan Stimson (7 PM only), Laurie Veldheer, Alex Wong, Iain Young and Stuart Zagnit.

Here's how 54 Below bills the evening: "Everyone's favorite newsboys (and girls) from the cast of that hit Broadway show on 41st Street gather at 54 Below to show a side of themselves you may not have seen yet. Get ready for songs, stories, dances, comedy gold and possibly even some audience participation."

Proceeds from the concerts will go towards supporting the efforts of Team Newsies in the Covenant House Sleep Out: Broadway Edition. For more information, click here

Newsies, which took home 2012 Tony Awards for Best Choreography (Christopher Gattelli) and Best Original Score (Alan Menken and Jack Feldman), will close after over a thousand performances prior to the launch of the national tour this October.
