The three-character drama, directed by Anthony Patellis, features Craig Alan Edwards, Patrick Holder and Sharita Hunt. The play is billed as "a dark and humorous tale of three street people searching for redemption."

Di Murro's play, The Coyote Bleeds, was seen at The Worth Street Theatre in New York City in 1995, playing 96 performances. His Moe Green Gets it in the Eye opened in 1998 at La Tea Theatre in Manhattan.

CAP21 was founded in 1993 by Artistic Director Frank Ventura "to create new works, develop new talent and build new audiences for the theatre."  CAP21's Barbara Wolff Monday Night Reading Series and the BlackJacks Festivals "give CAP21's writers the opportunity to hear their plays and musicals performed by professional actors and to gain valuable insight from audience feedback."

Among CAP21's productions have been a musical version of The Immigrant; the musical, Beach Radio; and the drama, Killing Louise.

Waiting for My Man has had four in-house readings at CAP21 and was heard as part of the Barbara Wolff Reading Series. One third of the plays developed at CAP21 have gone on to further development or productions at major regional theatres. Designers for Waiting for My Man are Troy Hourie (set), Kitty Leech (costumes), Josh Bradford (lighting) and ADI Group (sound).

Opening is set for Feb. 17. DR2 Theatre is at 103 East 15th Street (east of Union Square).

Performances play Tuesday through Saturday at 8 PM with matinees Saturdays at 2 PM and Sundays at 3 PM. All seats are $35 with $15 student tickets available with valid ID.
