News Stritch, Arnaz, Boitano and More Star in Benefit Help Is on the Way, in San Francisco July 28 A host of celebrities from the worlds of theatre, cabaret, TV and film will be on hand July 28 for Help Is on the Way IX.

Presented by The Richmond/Ermet AIDS Foundation, the annual star studded performance will be held at the Palace of Fine Arts Theater in San Francisco, CA. The evening begins with a 5:30 PM silent auction followed by the 8 PM concert and a post-show champagne and dessert party with the cast. Among those scheduled to take part in the fundraiser are Elaine Stritch — who recently wowed audiences at San Francisco's Curran Theatre — Stefanie Powers, Michele Lee, Lucie Arnaz, Rod McKuen, Jill Eikenberry, Michael Tucker, Lisa Vroman, Brian Boitano, Carole Cook, Mary Jo Catlett, Penny Fuller, Lisa Viggiano, Meg MacKay, Spencer Day, Sean McDermott, Leslie Jordan, Kenny Washington and the cast of the Phantom of the Opera national tour.

The Richmond/Ermet AIDS Foundation is a non-profit organization established to raise funds for AIDS service provider agencies. The July 28 concert will benefit five Bay Area AIDS service agencies: AIDS Legal Referral Panel, Center for Caregiver Training, Meals of Marin, New Leaf: Services for Our Community and UCSF AIDS Health Project.
