News Stroili's Straight Up with a Twist to Play the Beechman Paul Stroili's Straight Up with a Twist, which was recently nominated for a Los Angeles Ovation Award and an LA Weekly Award, will make its Manhattan debut in November at the Laurie Beechman Theatre.

In Straight Up, Stroili, according to press notes, "portrays his mother, father, brother, grandmother, and a host of other characters who struggle to understand a straight guy who 'can't work power tools, but can perfectly fold a fitted sheet.'" Show times at the intimate cabaret will be Nov. 9 and 10 at 7 PM, Nov. 11 at 3 PM, Nov. 17 at 7 PM and Nov. 18 at 3 PM. Paul Stroili has been seen on screen in "Malcolm in the Middle," "The Real Whatever," "Brother's Keeper," "Getting Personal," "Chance of a Lifetime," "The Untouchables" and "Cold Justice" and on stage in A Christmas Twist, Of Grapes and Nuts, Under Milkwood, Oedipus, A Requiem, Laughter on the 23rd Floor, Lovers and Keepers, Sister Bernie's Bingo Bash, Dark Ride and Tony 'n Tina's Wedding.
