News Struthers Helps Makes Dolly a Hit in Maine, July 25-Aug. 5 Sally Struthers is the lady atop the staircase in Hello, Dolly! at the Ogunquit Playhouse in southern Maine July 25-Aug. 5.

In the sedate tourist town of Ogunquit, where lobster rolls, salt water taffy and a craggy coastal promenade are permanent fixtures, the popular summer theatre has already sold out its regularly scheduled matinees for the Dolly run, and added new matinees July 29, July 31 and Aug. 5.

(Audiences went crazy there in recent weeks for Cabaret starring Andrea McArdle.)

Daffy and warm Struthers is known for playing Gloria on "All in the Family" but has also endeared herself to stock, touring, regional and New York audiences over the years, in Grease, Annie, Always, Patsy Cline, Wally's Café, The (Female) Odd Couple and more.

John Sheridan directs and choreographs Jerry Herman and Michael Stewart's Hello, Dolly!, the musical comedy based on Thornton Wilder's The Matchmaker. Musical direction is by Ken Clifton.

Production stage manager is Robert Levinstein. The cast includes Kerry Anderson (as Ermengarde), Jimmy Bennett (as Cornelius), Bieje Chapman, David Christopher, Alison Cusano, Laura Darrell, Marissa Dompe, Hillary Elliot (as Ernestina), Steven Gagliastro, Matt Gibson (as Ambrose), Bryan Knowlton, Douglas Lyons, Stephen Lukas, Michael MacLaren, Tripp Pettigrew, George Piehl (as Horace Vandergelder), Steven Riley, Chad Riter, Christopher Sergeeff, Amy Shure (as Minnie Fay), Kristyn Smith, Steven Stein-Grainger (as Rudolph) and Kristin Beth Williams (as Irene Molloy).
