Stucco People, a new play about Hollywood wanna-bes, will have its world premiere Aug. 12 at Glaxa Studios in Silver Lake. Larry Travis directs for producer Murray Wolfe. The play will close Sept. 19.
Lucille Duncan, John Fortson and Louie Liberti star as three Hollywood denizens, two of whom are married to each other - -a lonely TV producer's daughter who is a recovering alcoholic and her ambitious writer husband. The twosome find their lives turned upside down when a moody New York actor comes to live with them in their newly painted pink stucco bungalow.
>Travis is a graduate of USC's film school where he wrote and directed the award-winning short film "LiveShot" and received a Paramount Directing Fellowship.
