Submarine Comedy by Miguel Falabella and Maria Carmem Barbosa opened on Oct. 9 at The Procopio Ferreira Theatre - Sao Paulo. The couple have already brought to the stage the hits White Male Seeks and Evangelina.
Submarine is directed by Mauro Mendonca Filho and also marks the debut of established TV and theatre actress Zeze Polessa on the Sao Paulo stage.
Submarine tells the hilarious story of Cesar, a pragmatic and ambitious stockbroker and his wife Rita, a fragile dreamer of a librarian. The play revolves around the funnier aspectes of their home life, their loneliness and the stresses of existence in large cities.
