"Happy Talk," the official newsletter of the Rodgers and Hammerstein Organization, says the suite will be performed by the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra under the direction of John Mauceri. The "Fireworks Finale" concerts (Sept. 16 at 8:30 PM and Sept. 17 at 7:30 PM) will also feature members of the Joffrey Ballet and special guests Miss Piggy and Kermit the Frog. Kermit and Miss Piggy are scheduled to perform songs from the Great American Songbook. The Joffrey Ballet will be on hand to re-create Nijinsky's choreography for Debussy's "Afternoon of a Faun," and the evenings will also include world premieres by Guettel, Richard Rodney Bennett and Danny Elfman.

As previously reported, Tony-winning Light in the Piazza composer Guettel and screenwriter William Goldman are collaborating on a musical version of the hit fairy tale film "The Princess Bride."

The Hollywood Bowl is located at 2301 North Highland Avenue in Hollywood, CA. For tickets call (323) 850-2000 or visit www.hollywoodbowl.org.
