"What Theatre Festival Is Right For Me?" is the name of the panel discussion that will be moderated by Katherine Oliver of MOFTB. The free panel will be held at New World Stages April 21 from 7-8:30 PM.
New York is a major year-round hub for new works festivals, especially in the summer months, when the New York International Fringe Festival, New York Musical Theatre Festival, Midtown International Theatre Festival and the Summer Play Festival – to name a few – all get underway.
The April 21 panel will shed light on the inner workings of the festivals and how individuals and groups can become part of the various showcases. Panelists for the discussion will include representatives from the Summer Play Festival, the New York International Fringe Festival, the New York Musical Theatre Festival and TeatroStageFest.
Parties interested in attending should e-mail [email protected] by April 19.
The fifth annual Summer Play Festival gets underway July 1-27, in partnership with the Public Theater.
