News Summer Shorts Festival Kicks Off July 24 The third annual Summer Shorts Festival, offering eight world-premiere productions from playwrights including Neil LaBute and William Inge, begins performances Off-Broadway July 24.

Organized into two separate repertory evenings, the plays are presented through Aug. 27 at the 59E59 Theaters. Maruti Evans provides scenic and lighting design for Summer Shorts.
