The work will play the Illinois stage through Nov. 11. Other scheduled national dates include Cambridge, MA's American Repertory Theatre (Nov. 23-Dec. 23), Washington, D.C.'s Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company (Jan. 21-Feb. 10, 2008), Los Angeles' Kirk Douglas Theatre (March 6-April 13, 2008) and California's Berkeley Repertory Theatre (May 11-June 8, 2008). In the work, Sun transforms into "the teachers, students, parents, administrators, janitors, and security guards who inhabit our public schools every day and are shaping the future of America."

Epic Theatre Center commissioned the work and first presented it at NYC's Beckett Theatre at Theatre Row. The production then transferred to the Barrow Street Theatre. Sun based the play on her own experiences as a teaching artist.
