The cast of the new Disney musical — led by Ashley Brown (Mary Poppins), Gavin Lee (Bert), Alexander Scheitinger (Michael) and Kathryn Faughnan (Jane) — will sing what is, perhaps, the show's best-known song, "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious." The tongue-twister is scheduled to air during the 8-9 AM hour of the NBC chat show.

And, on Nov. 10 "Today" co-host Meredith Vieira will make a backstage visit to Poppins at the New Amsterdam.

Mary Poppins — a co-production between Disney and Cameron Mackintosh — began previews at the New Amsterdam Theatre Oct. 14. A hit in London, the new musical will officially open on Broadway Nov. 16. Ashley Brown, recently seen on Broadway as Belle in Beauty and the Beast, stars as Mary Poppins, the role immortalized on screen by Academy Award winner Julie Andrews. Gavin Lee, who starred as Bert in the London production, re-creates his role opposite Brown.

Richard Eyre directs Mary Poppins, which is based on P.L. Travers' original stories and the 1964 Disney film. The musical features choreography and co-direction by Matthew Bourne and boasts original songs from the film — with music and lyrics by Richard M. Sherman and Robert B.
