Following Ray Cooney's Run For Your Wife and Alan Ayckbourn's Season's Greetings, the Long Beach Playhouse continues their mainstage season with George Furth's comedy The Supporting Cast, Jan. 5-Feb. 10.

In Supporting Cast Ellen, the wife of a successful author, has written a book about friends who are spouses of celebrities and "tells all" about them. Needless to say, this does not sit well with the group and causes much resentment and bitterness which Ellen handles with difficulty. Furth has some surprises up his sleeve, however, leading to unexpected and often bizarre developments.

Phyllis B. Gitlin directs the production with a cast that includes Michael Fernandez Olton, Donna M. Fria-Lappin, Ann Hodgkinson, Yvonne Robertson and Jan Tiehen.
