The single benefits Comic Relief.

In a statement Peter Kay said, "I've had so much fun working with Susan Boyle and the project was a joy. I now hope it'll generate some very much needed funds for Comic Relief."

Susan Boyle added, "Peter Kay was brilliant to work with. I feel unbelievably privileged to be part of such a wonderful project as Comic Relief. I couldn't have dreamt of doing something like this two years ago."

In January it was announced that the original recording of the song — performed by Elaine Paige and Barbara Dickson for the concept album of Chess — is among the ten top-selling duet recordings of all time in the U.K.
