Obituaries Susan MacNair, a Producer of Broadway's Ballroom, Dead at 65 Susan MacNair, a Tony Award nominee for co-producing the musical Ballroom, died Aug. 31 after a long illness, Variety reported. She was 65.

As an associate producer, Ms. MacNair worked on the Broadway plays Death and the Maiden and Social Security was billed as "Assistant for Icarus Productions" for the Broadway run Hurlyburly in 1984. Ballroom was the Michael Bennett musical from 1978-79. According Variety, Ms. MacNair assisted Mike Nichols, Nora Ephron, Edward Villella, Lauren Bacall and Michael Bennett in her career. For movies, she was an associate producer on Nichols' "Regarding Henry" and "Postcards From the Edge." Ms. MacNair is survived by her husband, Arthur P. Siccardi.
