The 7 PM event will, according to press notes, "showcase the bringing together of diverse cultures through the universal art form of dance." Sutton Foster, James Earl Jones and Rosie O'Donnell are all scheduled to appear at the one-night-only event, which will also boast performances by the American Ballet Theatre, BALAM Dance Theater, Ballet de Monterrey, Dance China NY, Donny Golden Irish Dance, Drum Café NY, Lorena Feijoo, Sachiyo Ito, The Joffrey Ballet, Eric Lewis, Luna Negra Dance Theatre, National Dance Institute of New Mexico, Ologunde, Parul Shah Dance Co., Billy Porter, Noah Racey, Pilar Rioja, Rosie's Broadway Kids, Sounds of Korea, Thunderbird American Indian Dancers and Mr. Wiggles. The evening, which is being written by Deborah Grace Winer, will be produced and directed by Ann Marie DeAngelo. Tony Award winner Chita Rivera will be honored with the Rolex Dance Award, and the Rudolf Nureyev Dance Foundation will be presented with the CTFD Award for "outstanding contributions to the world of dance."
