News Sweeney Todd's Champlin Star to Be Part of Sept. 29 "After Party" Donna Lynne Champlin, who played Pirelli — as well as the accordion, keyboard and flute — in the recent revival of Sweeney Todd, will be the special guest at this week's "The After Party," the Friday-night celebration at the Beechman that is billed as "an informal social gathering for the theatrically inclined.”

Hosted by Brandon Cutrell and Alysha Umphress, "The After Party" features Ray Fellman at the piano and Sarajean Devenport behind the bar. Amateurs and professionals are invited to take turns at the open mic. The "Party" begins at 10:30 PM and continues to 2 AM. Champlin is expected to perform a few songs from her repertoire. Donna Lynne Champlin has appeared on Broadway in Sweeney Todd, Hollywood Arms, By Jeeves and James Joyce's The Dead. Her other New York theatrical credits include My Life With Albertine, Reunion, Encores!, Bloomer Girl, First Lady Suite, The Audience and Meet John Doe.

The Laurie Beechman Theatre is located within the West Bank Cafe at 407 West 42nd Street. There is no cover charge or minimum for "The After Party."
