News Sweeney’s Felciano Steps Into “Broadway Spotlight” Feb. 6 Manoel Felciano, who plays Tobias — as well as the violin, clarinet and keyboard — in the acclaimed revival of Sweeney Todd, steps into the “Broadway Spotlight” Feb. 6 at the Ars Nova.

Felciano is the latest performer featured in the series, which presents new Broadway actors in an intimate setting. Entitled “Mano a Mano: An Evening of Music and Musings,” the 8 PM concert will boast special guests Michael Cerveris, Merle Dandridge, Melissa Errico, Eden Espinosa and Asa Somers. The Feb. 6 concert is sold out, although another evening with Felciano has been scheduled for Feb. 13 at 8 PM. Guests will vary for the added performance.

Manoel Felciano has been seen on Broadway in Sweeney Todd, Brooklyn, Jesus Christ Superstar and Cabaret as well as in the national tours of Saturday Night Fever and Whistle Down the Wind. His Off-Broadway credits include Shockheaded Peter and Much Ado About Nothing.

Previous "Broadway Spotlight" concerts have spotlighted the talents of Avenue Q's Ann Harada, Barrett Foa and John Tartaglia, Dance of the Vampires' Max von Essen, Les Miz’s Lauren Kennedy, Hairspray's Shoshana Bean, Into the Woods' Chad Kimball, Aida's Felicia Finley, Rent's Anthony Rapp, Wicked's Idina Menzel and Funny Girl’s Leslie Kritzer.
