Actress Pamela Gien will be a guest on "The Rosie O'Donnell Show" on Dec. 8. Gien is the star of the one-woman show The Syringa Tree Off Broadway. Tree began its run at Playhouse 91 on Sept. 6 and has slowly developed into a sleeper hit. According to a publicist for the show, O'Donnell attended the play recently and was so impressed by Gien's work she quickly drafted her as a guest. In Syringa (pronounced with a hard "g"), Gien takes on 28 roles spanning four generations of South Africa, from apartheid to freedom.
O'Donnell's show airs in New York on channel 7 at 10 AM. Check local listing for times and stations.
