Tony nominee Dan Knechtges directs the production, which was originally scheduled for a limited engagement through Nov. 30.

"Saturday Night Live" alum Rachel Dratch, who appeared in the Fringe version, heads the cast of the comedy, which offers a verbatim reenactment of the sex scandals that brought down former Congressman Anthony Weiner (D-NY), former Governor/Congressman Mark Sanford (R-SC), former Congressman Mark Foley (R-FL) and former Senator Larry Craig (R-ID).

The cast also features Arnie Burton, Sean Dugan, Tom Galantich and Nate Smith.

"Politics is dirty – but politicians are dirtier," according to press notes. "The truth is laid hysterically bare in Tail! Spin!, a wildly inventive new comedy drawn verbatim from the leaked e-mails, raunchy texts and tell-tale tweets that brought down politicians Mark ('Appalachian Trail') Sanford, Larry ('Wide Stance') Craig, Anthony ('I Was Hacked') Weiner, and Mark ('Underage Page') Foley. Using only the actual words of the disgraced politicians, their paramours, and the skeptical media they tried so hard to spin, Tail! Spin! winningly weaves an intricate, overlapping narrative of the power of sex--and the sex lives of the powerful."

The production also has scenic and projection designs by Caite Hevner Kemp, costume design by Jen Caprio, lighting design by Ryan O’Gara and sound design by John Emmett O’Brien. Producers are Billy Zavelson, Marianne Mills, Ben Feldman, Kristen Stein, Flying Bulldog Productions, Paula Kaminsky Davis, Jeffrey Sosnick/Neal Rubinstein and Jamie deRoy in association with Clifford Lee Johnson III.

A limited number of student rush tickets are available for purchase from the box office two hours prior to each performance upon presentation of a valid student ID. Rush tickets cost $25 with a maximum of two tickets per ID.

Tickets, ranging in price from $25-$75, are on sale and can be arranged online at tailspinshow.com, by calling (866) 811-4111. The Lynn Redgrave Theater is located at 45 Bleecker Street at Lafayette Street.
