The brand-new posh and punk musical Head Over Heels, which began previews June 23, will officially open July 26 at the Hudson Theatre.
Featuring a book by Jeff Whitty adapted by James Magruder, Head Over Heels uses the music of the all-female rock band The Go-Go's to tell an updated take on Philip Sidney’s Arcadia. Audiences can expect such Go-Go’s hits as “We Got the Beat,” “Our Lips Are Sealed,” and the title tune, as well as original Go-Go’s member Belinda Carlisle’s singles “Mad About You” and “Heaven is a Place on Earth.”
