1992 Mick Jackson film The Bodyguard paired pop superstar Whitney Houston with Kevin Costner as a singer and the former Secret Service agent who is hired to protect her through the travails of stardom.
The stage adaptation of the hit film was a West End success that subsequently toured the UK and Ireland. The production is now on tour with Deborah Cox and Judson Mills taking the roles created by Houston and Costner across the United States. After a November 25 - January 1 run at at New Jersey’s Paper Mill Playhouse, the tour moves on to Minneapolis and an official tour opening on January 10. See the itinerary here.
