Seats," the New York City theatre seating guide that is indispensable to dedicated Gotham theatregoers, will be released in a new addition on Dec. 12. Applause Books publishes the guide, which is compiled by Jodé Susan Millman.
The new addition features the seating layouts of all 39 Broadway houses, 67 Off-Broadway houses and other theatre-related forums such as the Brooklyn Academy of Music, Radio City Music Hall, Symphony Space and Town Hall.
Maps of concert halls, recital halls, sports stadiums and pop and rock music venues are also featured, as are maps of the Union Square, Chelsea, Lincoln Center, East Village, West Village, Westside and Midtown theatre districts.
Each map includes a sidebar guide indicating which subway and bus lines will bring audiences to the theatre in question, and naming local parking lots for those who choose to drive to the show.
Millman's father was Sandy Millman, the founder of the "Seats" guide. The volume goes for $10.95.
