Tony Award winner Denis O'Hare (Take Me Out) will appear in a reading of Edward Albee's Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf at The Wang Center for the Performing Arts in Boston, Dec. 8.

Kicking off the "American Voices: Drama, Dialogue, Downtown" play reading series, O'Hare will be joined by Karen MacDonald, Marguerite Stimpson and Trey Burvant at The Wang's Shubert Theatre. Steven Maler directs. The series which "will showcase classic American works" will also include David Mamet's American Buffalo (Feb. 2, 2004) and Sam Shepard's True West (March 15, 2004). Another title for a Jan. 12 reading will be announced later. The performances will take place at 7 PM and will be followed by a short question and answer session.

O'Hare won the 2003 Tony Award for Best Actor in a Play for his portrayal in Richard Greenberg's Take Me Out. He has also appeared on Broadway in Major Barbara, Cabaret and Racing Demon.
