Written and directed by Sian Heder, the cast includes Ellen Page as well as a host of Broadway favorites, including Allison Janney (9 to 5, A View from the Bridge), Tammy Blanchard ( Gypsy), Zachary Quinto (The Glass Menagerie, Angels in America), John Benjamin Hickey (The Normal Heart, Love! Valour! Compassion!) and Uzo Aduba (Godspell).
The film, according to production notes, “blends edgy drama and intelligent comedy in a tale of a wayward young woman and an estranged mother both at a crossroads in their lives.”
