Classic Arts News Tanglewood Film Night to Feature Yo-Yo Ma, James Earl Jones, and John Williams The annual film night at Tanglewood this summer will feature the music of John Williams, the festival announced.
The composer and conductor, the former conductor of the Boston Pops will lead music from his own score for the film Memoirs of a Geisha and his Grand Suite from Star Wars on August 12 at 8:30 p.m.

Actor James Earl Jones, who voiced Darth Vader in the films, will narrate the Star Wars Suite. Cellist Yo-Yo Ma will appear as soloist for the Memoirs of a Geisha score, reprising his performance on the film's soundtrack.

Tickets for the 2006 season at Tanglewood go on sale on February 12 through SymphonyCharge, at 888-266-1200, and www.bso.org.
