The Australian tap-dancing sensation Tap Dogs is coming to Paris for the first time, Feb. 24 -Apr. 11. Originally scheduled to appear at the Folies Bergere, this touring production will finally perform on the stage of the Casino de Paris.

Tap Dogs was created by dancer-performer-choreographer Dein Perry who won two Olivier Awards, one for Hot Shoe Shuffle in 1995 and one for Tap Dogs in 1996. The show is directed and designed by Australian director Nigel Triffit. The world premiere of Tap Dogs took place at the Starfish Club, Sydney in Jan. 1995. Then the Australian team started to tour the world with great success, appearing in London, Montreal, Los Angeles, Tokyo, Seoul, New York, Milan and China among others.

Dancers featured in this production of Tap Dogs are Ben Read, Paul Rodinson, Chris Bailey, James Doubtfire, Dean Magri, Douglas Mills, James Anthony and Chris Ernest. Three companies are currently touring the world. After their Paris engagement, Tap Dogs will return to Italy in May, and then will have its German premiere in August.
