When you check out a library copy of Taproot's current show, The Clearing , a tragedy by Helen Edmundso, a librarian gives you two stamped certificates. These entitle you to 50 percent off on two tickets to the production, which , runs through May 2. For tickets ($14-$20).

John-Andrew Morrison is reprising his Tony-nominated performance in the Michael R. Jackson musical at American Conservatory Theater.
The new musical explores the Women's Suffrage movement's victories and failures with a book, music and lyrics by Shaina Taub.
Adapted and directed by Emma Rice, the Wise Children and RSC co-production plays the Swan.
The production played an earlier run via Ustinov Studio and Theatre Royal Bath.
The Tony nominee is playing slick lawyer Billy Flynn in the John Kander-Fred Ebb-Bob Fosse musical.
