News Tartaglia's ImaginOcean to Celebrate 100th Performance With Events Around the City To celebrate the 100th performance of John Tartaglia's ImaginOcean — the Drama Desk-nominated Off-Broadway family musical — on July 25, several events will be offered July 23-28.

Events around the city
July 23, 12:30 PM and 1:30 PM, Victorian Gardens, Central Park
Join Tartaglia, the cast and the puppet stars of ImaginOcean for two live performances, autographs and a meet-and-greet at Victorian Gardens (located at Wollman Rink in Central Park; enter Central Park from 59th Street and 6th Avenue and walk north).

July 24, 1 PM Coney Island Beach
The cast of the show will participate in the Coney Island Sand Sculpting Contest, and do a live performance on the Boardwalk at West 10th Street. July 28, 7 PM, Barnes and Noble, 150 East 86th Street
Join Tartaglia, the cast and puppets for a live performance and CD autograph session to celebrate the 100th performance and the new release of the original Off-Broadway cast recording on CD.

ImaginOcean, according to press notes, "is an underwater theatrical experience like no other. The innovative glow-in-the-dark 50 minute musical features extraordinary puppets, memorable original songs, and a heartwarming journey of discovery by three loveable fish named Tank, Bubbles, and Dorsel who take the audience on their singing, bubbling, jiving adventure, making friends along the way."

ImaginOcean is the brain child of Tartaglia, known for his Tony Award-nominated portrayals of Rod/Princeton in the original cast of Avenue Q and his critically acclaimed television show on Disney Channel, "Johnny and the Sprites." Tartaglia is not only the creator and writer of ImaginOcean, he is also the voice of five of its characters.
