David Kennedy directs the classic that runs through Aug. 4.
Kudisch (9 to 5, The Apple Tree) is joined by Mark Nelson (The Invention of Love, After the Fall) as Orgon, Nadia Bowers (The Farnsworth Invention, Doubt) as Elmire and Patricia Conolly (Judgment at Nuremberg, Is He Dead?) as Madame Pernelle.
Completing the company are Justin Adams, Chrissy Albanese, Matthew Amendt, Tyrone Mitchell Henderson, Jeremy Lawrence, William Peden, Jeanine Serralles and Charise Castro Smith.
Here's how it's billed: "Orgon has fallen under Tartuffe's spell, the most saintly man he's ever known. But Orgon's family believes Tartuffe a fraud, out to steal his wealth, bed his wife, and wed his daughter. Will Orgon come to his senses before it's too late? The stage is set for a battle of wills in a wickedly funny and farcical take on the outer limits of hypocrisy that has entertained audiences for years."
The design team includes Wilson Chin (set design), Ilona Somogyi (costume design), Matthew Richards (lighting design); Fitz Patton (sound design), Michael Rossmy (fight director), Elizabeth Smith (voice and speech consultant) and Klaus van den Berg (dramaturg).
