News   Tarzan's Gregory to Play Joe's Pub in 2008 Chester Gregory, who played Terk in the Disney musical Tarzan, will go it solo at Joe's Pub Jan. 28, 2008.

Gregory will perform an evening of his R&B tunes at the intimate cabaret, which is located within the Public Theater. Show time is 9:30 PM. Chester Gregory, who co-starred in Tarzan, made his Broadway debut in Hairspray. A native of Gary, IN, Gregory has also appeared in productions of The Jackie Wilson Story, Train Is Comin', Soul of Black Music, Scapin and Drowning Crow. His awards include a Jeff Award (Best Actor in a Review), a Black Excellence Award (Best Actor in a Musical), a Black Theater Alliance Award (Best Actor in a Musical) and an Audelco Special Performance Award in 2003.
