News   Taye Diggs to Co-Produce Adoption Drama Series for ABC
Broadway actor-singer Taye Diggs, who is currently a series regular on ABC's "Private Practice," is set to co-produce another venture on the same network.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, ABC has picked up an ensemble drama series that will focus on the world of adoption. A Los Angeles-based team of lawyers, doctors and caseworkers will navigate the ethical complexities of that world as they strive to make adoptions happen smoothly and happily.

Diggs will co-produce with Abe Hoch, Jennifer Bozell and the series' co-writers, Kiersten Van Horne and Cara Haycak.

Diggs has appeared on Broadway in Rent, Chicago, Wicked and Carousel, and Off-Broadway in Andrew Lippa's The Wild Party. He has been seen in the films "Rent," "Chicago" and "How Stella Got Her Groove Back," and the series "Kevin Hill," "Will and Grace" and "Ally McBeal."
