News   Taylor Swift Snags Hugh Jackman's T-Shirt in BC/EFA Auction at The River
Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Taylor Swift walked away with Hugh Jackman's t-shirt after making a generous donation to Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS following the Dec. 24 matinee of The River, Playbill.com has confirmed.

Swift was in the audience for the Dec. 24 matinee of the new Jez Butterworth play, which currently runs at the Circle in the Square, according to a representative for BC/EFA.

The Daily News reported that Swift bid $6,000 for the t-shirt that Jackman wore during the performance. The auction was part of The River's fundraising efforts for BC/EFA.

Another audience member bid $2,000 for the belt Jackman wore, while the actor raised $6,000 from another audience member. Jackman also donated $6,000 himself in support of the charity.

Jackman's fundraising efforts helped BC/EFA hit a new record-breaking sum this year. Read more about it here.

Swift also met with Jackman backstage following the performance. Jackman posted the photo to his Instagram account.
