Swift was in the audience for the Dec. 24 matinee of the new Jez Butterworth play, which currently runs at the Circle in the Square, according to a representative for BC/EFA.
The Daily News reported that Swift bid $6,000 for the t-shirt that Jackman wore during the performance. The auction was part of The River's fundraising efforts for BC/EFA.
Another audience member bid $2,000 for the belt Jackman wore, while the actor raised $6,000 from another audience member. Jackman also donated $6,000 himself in support of the charity.
Jackman's fundraising efforts helped BC/EFA hit a new record-breaking sum this year. Read more about it here.
Swift also met with Jackman backstage following the performance. Jackman posted the photo to his Instagram account.
