This Thursday we are remembering Jonathan Groff's legendary performance of "Anything Goes" as he channeled his inner Sutton Foster at MCC Theatre's 2012 Miscast Gala.
Groff enlisted ensemble dancers from Broadway's Tony Award-winning Anything Goes—and even learned Tony winner Kathleen Marshall's choreography—to recreate the eight-minute title tap number from the Cole Porter musical. See the video above.
The Tony nominee can be heard in the new musical podcast 36 Questions. The Two-Up production marks the first-ever original musical podcast, which aired Act 1 of three on July 10. He has also been seen in Broadway's Spring Awakening and Hamilton, for which he was nominated for Tony Awards, and HBO's series Looking.
