The Center Communications Group has announced the recipients of this year’s National Conference Awards, which will be presented at the 27th annual TCG conference in Portland, Oregon, June 8–10. This year’s event is themed “Full Circle.”

The 2017 National Conference Award recipients are The Latinx Theatre Commons, in partnership with HowlRound (The Peter Zeisler Memorial Award); Linda Hartzell, artistic director emerita of Seattle Children’s Theatre (Theatre Practitioner Award); Susan Medak, managing director of Berkeley Repertory Theatre (The Visionary Leadership Award); The William & Eva Fox Foundation in Washington, D.C. (The National Funder Award); and The James F. and Marion L. Miller Foundation (The Regional Funder Award).

“Our 27th National Conference’s theme of Full Circle lives in the generosity of spirit embodied by these awardees,” said Teresa Eyring, executive director of TCG, in a press statement. “They are renowned mentors and educators, collectives and funders, all forging a more equitable and sustainable future for our theatre field. We’re thrilled to honor their legacies and visions in Portland, amid our ever-growing circle of theatre people.”
