News Ted Tally's Hooters to Bounce Out of L.A.'s Zephyr, Aug. 6 HOLLYWOOD -- Last chance to catch the Zephyr Theater's revival of Hooters, Ted Tally's comic look at the dating scene. The show opened July 13 and ends its scheduled run Aug. 6.

HOLLYWOOD -- Last chance to catch the Zephyr Theater's revival of Hooters, Ted Tally's comic look at the dating scene. The show opened July 13 and ends its scheduled run Aug. 6. Originally produced in New York in 1978, the play is directed by Ted Brunetti, an Uta Hagen protege. Starring in Hooters are Whoopi Goldberg's daughter, Alex Martin Dean, and local radio personality Clarence Barnes (who is also executive producing the show).

The four-person cast also includes Lou Carbonneau and Michelle Haun.
