Teenage Dick is directed by two-time Tony Award nominee Moritz von Stuelpnagel and choreographed by Jennifer Weber (KPOP). Performances have been extended an additional two weeks and will now continue through July 29.

The cast also includes Marinda Anderson, Alex Breaux, Shannon DeVido, Sasha Diamond, and Tiffany Villarin.

Set at Roseland High, Teenage Dick tells the story of a 16-year-old outsider in the deepest winter of his discontent: his junior year. Picked on because of his cerebral palsy (as well as his sometimes-creepy Shakespearean way of speaking), Richard is determined to have his revenge and make his name by becoming president of the senior class.

Talkbacks with the cast and creative team are scheduled for June 23 (matinee), June 26, and July 1 (matinee).

The Off-Broadway premiere of Teenage Dick features set design by Wilson Chin, costume design by Junghyun Georgia Lee, lighting design by Miriam Crowe, sound design by Fabian Obispo, and movement coordination by Robert Westley. Alyssa K. Howard is the production stage manager, and Zach Longstreet is production manager.

Teenage Dick was developed and commissioned by The Apothetae, Mozgala's theatre company dedicated to nurturing plays that explore and illuminate the disabled experience. The play was also developed by The Public Theater as part of its 2016 Public Studio Series, and the Eugene O’Neill Theater Center’s National Playwrights Conference. The production is part of The Lark’s Venturous Playwright Fellowship Program.
