News Teller Will Speak in Playbill's Exclusive Play Dead Event Oct. 28 Teller, the silent half of the popular Penn & Teller comic/magic duo, will speak at a special post-show talkback after a preview performance of Play Dead, the thriller he co-wrote and directed, Oct. 28 at 8 PM at The Players Theatre.

This event is exclusive to Playbill and Playbill.com readers, who will receive a special discount offer for the event.

Play Dead, co-written and performed by Todd Robbins, begins previews Oct. 21 and has scheduled an official opening for Nov. 10.

The production, according to press notes, "explores themes of death, darkness and deception. Illuminated by just a single ghost light, audiences will test their nerves and face their fears as they are surrounded by ethereal sights, sounds and even touches of the returning dead - all achieved by wry, suspenseful storytelling and uncanny stage illusions.
