A one-woman musical written by and starring Terry Burrell, the musical has played the Walnut Street Theatre in Philadelphia and the Alabama Shakespeare Festival in Montgomery.
This presentation will be directed by Kenneth L. Roberson with musical direction by Alex Rybeck.
Songs featured in the production include “Am I Blue,” Trav’lin Light,” “Memoires of You,” “St. Louis Woman,” “Heat Wave,” “Suppertime,” “Stormy Weather,” “Happiness Is Just A Thing Called Joe” and “His Eye on the Sparrow.”
Burrell’s Broadway credits include Three Penny Opera, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Swinging On A Star, Into The Woods, Dreamgirls, Honky Tonk Nights and Eubie. She is currently standing by for the role of Billie Holliday in the Off-Broadway musical Lady Day.
