News   Testa, Winther and Berry to Join Sachon for Strings Attached Two concerts featuring acclaimed American cellist Peter Sachon will be presented March 1 and 8 at the Triad Theatre in Manhattan.

Theatre favorites Mary Testa, Michael Winther and Sarah Uriarte Berry will join Sachon for the 7 PM concerts, which are titled Peter Sachon — Strings Attached. A previous version of Sachon's show was directed by Tony Award winner Victoria Clark. The program for the concerts will feature both classical selections and modern pieces. Concertgoers can expect to hear tunes by Stephen Schwartz, Ricky Ian Gordon, Jeff Blumenkrantz, Tom Kitt, Andrew Lippa and Leonard Bernstein.

Peter Sachon, who received music degrees from Mannes College and Manhattan School of Music, performed in and can be heard on the cast recordings of The Light in the Piazza and Fiddler on the Roof. He has premiered new works for the cello composed by Stephen Schwartz, Stephen Flaherty, Ricky Ian Gordon, Jeff Marx, Michael John LaChiusa and George Stiles.

Mary Testa was Tony-nominated for her performances in 42nd Street and On the Town and received an Obie Award for her work in From Above. Michael Winther has been seen on Broadway in Mamma Mia!, 1776, The Crucible, Artist Descending a Staircase and Damn Yankees and received a Drama Desk nomination for his work Off-Broadway in Songs from an Unmade Bed. Sarah Uriarte Berry received Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle nominations for her work in The Light in the Piazza and has also been seen on Broadway in Taboo, Beauty and the Beast and Les Misérables.
