News That Face: Cady Huffman, Blonde Bombshell Ulla, Leaves Bway Producers Aug. 3 Cady Huffman, the one remaining original principal player in Broadway's The Producers, leaves the show Aug. 3.

The actress won a Tony Award playing the Swedish Ulla, the secretary and comely wannabe actress who falls in love with Leo Bloom in the Mel Brooks musical.

Huffman is being replaced Aug. 5 by Sarah Cornell, the "Ulla" of the upcoming Toronto production. She will stay with the Broadway company for three months, then join Toronto when it opens, a spokesman said.

Cornell is a twentysomething unknown who is joining Equity (Canadian and American) for the first time for The Producers.

Huffman was nominated for a Tony for Best Featured Actress in a Musical for playing Ziegfeld's favorite in The Will Rogers Follies: A Life in Revue.

Gary Beach, who won a Tony playing Roger DeBris on Broadway, will return to the St. James Theatre in September after his contract in the Los Angeles production of The Producers is up.
