News   The 13th Annual Cabaret Convention to Honor Richard Rodgers at Town Hall Although the roster of performers is far from being finalized, The 13th Annual Cabaret Convention — Oct. 21 through Oct. 27 — will join the bandwagon with three evenings celebrating the music of the late Richard Rodgers. Performances on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, Oct. 24-26, are entitled "Some Enchanted Evenings: Parts I, II and III" and will offer songs from the composer of South Pacific, Carousel, Flower Drum Song, The Boys From Syracuse, Pal Joey, The Sound of Music and Oklahoma! The first of the three evenings will be hosted by Rodgers' daughter, composer Mary Rodgers.

The annual Cabaret Convention, celebrating both new and veteran stars of the cabaret field, will be held at New York's Town Hall at 123 West 43rd Street. Tickets to the event, which is presented by The Mabel Mercer Foundation, range in price from $25 to $250; order forms are available by going to www.mabelmercer.org or by calling (212) 980-3026.
