Joan Ackermann's comedy The Batting Cage will have its West Coast premiere July 31 at the North Coast Repertory Theatre in Solana Beach, CA. The play concerns two very different sisters (and the remains of the third) as they seek common ground in a Florida Holiday Inn. Darla Cash directs. The cast includes Gina Angelique, Shannon Maree Smith, Sandra Ellis-Troy and Michael Severance. The set is by Marty Burnett, costumes by Julie Kropp and lighting by Chris Hall.
