The follow-up to the 2011 film "The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel" will be directed by John Madden and feature the original cast, including Tony and Academy Award winner Judi Dench (Amy's View, "Shakespeare in Love"), Tony and Academy Award winner Maggie Smith (Lettice and Lovage, "California Suite"), Bill Nighy (The Vertical Hour, "Love Actually"), Dev Patel ("Slumdog Millionaire," "The Newsroom"), Celia Imrie ("Doctor Who," "You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger"), Ronald Pickup (Amy's View, "Young Dracula"), Penelope Wilton (The Philanthropist, "Downton Abbey"), Diana Hardcastle ("The Kennedys," "If Only"), Tena Desae ("Table No. 21") and Lillete Dubey ("Monsoon Wedding," "The Lunchbox"). The cast will also feature Richard Gere (Bent, "Chicago"), David Strathairn (The Heiress, "Good Night, and Good Luck") and Tamsin Greig ("Shaun of the Dead," "Black Books").
