The new folk-rock musical with music and lyrics by 16-time Grammy winner Sting — inspired by the songwriter's own childhood — officially opened on Broadway Oct. 26 at the Neil Simon Theatre.
The Last Ship opening was star-studded with celebrities from the music, film and theatre worlds. This mixed grouping provided a sense of whimsy to the red carpet.

Sarah Paulson's fun print and comfy coat gave her a quirky feel that really worked for this venue. Her simple make-up and red lips also helped her stand out.

Sally Ann Triplett was age appropriate, sexy and sophisticated in this elegant jumpsuit. I give her an A+.
4. Trudie Styler
With her chic tuxedo and updo hair, Trudie Styler was a perfect complement to Sting's classic attire. Her edgy clutch and sleek stilettos added a modern touch to the sophisticated look.
The man behind it all was incredibly dapper in his bespoke, Savile Row suit. Sting has always been a stylish dresser, and last night proved he hasn’t lost his touch.
