The Boy From Oz continues to cater to star Hugh Jackman's schedule. The show will shift its June 6 performance to June 15 to accommodate the star's Tony Awards hosting duties.

Performances run Tuesdays-Saturdays at 8 PM; Wednesdays and Saturdays at 2 PM; and Sundays at 3 PM. The following are exceptions to this schedule:

  • June 6 (Sunday) - 3 PM - No performance
  • June 15 (Tuesday) - 8 PM - Added performance
  • July 6 (Tuesday) - 8 PM - No performance
  • July 20 (Tuesday) - 8 PM - No performance
  • August 3 (Tuesday) - 8 PM - No performance The new musical began on Broadway at the Imperial Theatre Sept. 16, 2003, and opened Oct. 16.

    The Boy from Oz is "a musical true story" of the late entertainer Peter Allen who was a protege of Judy Garland — and briefly married to her daughter Liza Minnelli. Martin Sherman (Bent) provides the libretto for the score which features the music and lyrics of the pop superstar.
